Are you a homeschooler? If not, are you considering home education? Does thinking about this topic leave you feeling intimidated or lost?
When I decided to homeschool my kids over a year ago, I had no idea where to begin. I was thankful to find a few friends who were homeschooling, and then I began following homeschool families on Instagram and reading blogs that made homeschooling look beautiful, warm, easy, nature filled, tea parties, inviting and back to basics... also a bit curated. I wanted to replicate that in my home.
I wanted to use all the same resources they were using; I wanted to read all the books they recommended, listen to all the podcasts, watch all the You Tube reviews, and I was immediately drowning in information overload.
I am here to tell you that, while it feels overwhelming right now, if I can get through it, then you can too. Try not to let this beginning process deter you. You don't have to have all the answers now friend. Some things will come to you naturally when you start on this path. Also, you DON'T need to replicate what others are doing. Remember, comparison is the thief of joy. So, let's start at the beginning:
